Would you like to be an Intergenerational Champion?

We are constantly looking for Intergenerational Champions to help us to raise awareness about the importance of generations enjoying time together. We want to get the word out there about the benefits for every age!

We are creating a national network of Intergenerational Champions who are able to share their stories and inspire others to believe they can help to make a difference in their own local communities and neighbourhoods.

The role of an Intergenerational Champion

The role of an Intergenerational Champion can be as much or as little as you want it to be. It may include:

  • sharing your personal story about spending time with people of different ages
  • spreading the word and telling people about the power of this approach to improve health, learning and wellbeing.
  • acting as a point of contact for your organisation or community in relation  to intergenerational ideas and thinking.
  • setting up and maintaining a noticeboard in your organisation or community to raise awareness of intergenerational events or activities in your local area.
  • volunteering for Ready Generations or another organisation promoting intergenerational approaches.
  • running a fundraising event to enable more opportunities to bring generations together locally.
