Here we are at Week 8 of our Picture Diary as we get nearer to the opening of our intergenerational nursery.
This week sees the launch of an Art Competition for the local early years settings and schools around the care village and nursery site in Chester.
The competition offers children and young people the opportunity to not only be creative but also to think about the excitement of moving to a new home particularly as an older person.
The main prize is an amazing opportunity for a class to work with acclaimed sculptor, Brigitte Jurack, to design a set of ceramic tiles that will be displayed in the gardens of the care village and nursery as part of a therapeutic walk to be shared by children, residents and their families.
